How do you give so many features for such low prices?

Can I host more than one independent web site?
Our starter plan i.e. Value Plan allows you to host 2 web site domain names. Higher plans allow more web site domains. All these domains are managed using one Hosting Control Panel (CP). CP allows you to create multiple mailboxes for each of these domains and enable spam and anti-virus feature individually. CP also allows you to activate various features for each of these web sites. The control panel can have only one user.

What is Trial Hosting?
Trial Hosting allows you to try our hosting services without actually paying anything. When you sign-up for Trial Hosting your credit card details are not asked. The trial period lasts for 7 days. After 7 days, unless you convert to Pay Mode, your account will get automatically suspended. When you switch to Pay Mode, system will charge you from the date you signed up for trial hosting. It should be noted that all Trial accounts are activated instantly but reviewed post-activation. Therefore if you are planning to SPAM or abuse the system by signing up repeatedly, that will not work. To ensure your trial account is remains activate, please fill out your complete contact details as well as e-mail address accurately.

What are the different methods I can pay through?
Customers may pay by us by Credit Card, Pay Pal, or Wire Transfer. By Credit Card, we accept Visa and Master Card. For Wire Transfer payment options, please contact sales@intlws.com

How long does it take for my account to be activated?
For payments made by credit card, accounts are activated instantly. We strongly suggest the use of Master Card. or Visa for billing as that can be totally automated for you with instant activation and instant credit to your account upon payments. For all other payment methods, it may take 12 to 24 hours after the payment is made.

            How do I purchase and add a domain name to my account?
If you don't own a domain name yet, it is recommended that you find a domain name that is available first through our site at http://cheapdomains.intlws.com and register it and add the name during your signup process for your hosting account. Your account will be automatically created with your new domain name and when the DNS zones are updated throughout the internet your site will be available. You may register a new domain name through our Domain Registration Department . You will receive an independent control panel for maintaining your domain names.
You should register your domain name first and then signup for your hosting plan. Dot Com domains available at $8.95 per year.

When adding a domain during the hosting registration process or later for new domains or additional domains, use the following  form that is available on your H-Sphere hosting control panel. You will just add in your domain name and it's extension "i.e." .com, .net and then click submit.
Below is not a live form - only a sample of the form you will use on your control panel.

The domain is not actually transferred to us. Only local DNS records are created for it so that your web site will be available via it's domain name. If you registered your domain name through our domain registration service then this is all you need to do. Your new domain will be available on the internet within 24 - 72 hours automatically. You may upload content in the meantime to the instant domain alias provided in your control panel.

What do I do if I already own a domain name and how do I add it to my account?
If you have registered your domain through another company that sells domain names you will have to get them to point the DNS server zones to our name servers at ns1.intlws.com, ns2.intlws.com, ns3.intlws.com, and ns4.intlws.com or if they have provided you with a domain name control panel you may do so yourself. Your site will not be available on the internet until this is done and allow 24-72 hours for it to propagate through the internet. You may upload content in the meantime to the instant domain alias provided in your control panel. You will also need to refer to the above section and add your domain name in the same way to the H-Sphere control panel.

Can I test my web site before changing name servers to Intlws?
Yes, for each domain you add to the control panel, you'll be given an Instant Access domain alias through which you may test your site before its actually resolving.

What is Summary Disk Space?
Summary Disk Space is the total amount of space you can use across our servers. It is inclusive of web space (for your web site files), mail space and database space. This space is based on average usage and not allocation. Every 24 hours, our system calculates how much total data you are storing on our servers (web + e-mail + database). At the end of a 30 day month, it would have 30 readings. The average of these 30 readings would be taken and that would be your actual summary disk space usage for that month.

How much Mail Box and SQL Quota do I get in each Hosting Plan?
You can use as much SQL space and e-mail space as you want under your total Summary Disk Space. This means if you want to use 100MB for a SQL Server 2000 database, you can as long as you use only 100MB for web space and e-mail A major concern from our customers has been how much e-mail space they will use if they are heavy e-mail user. The response in most cases is under 1MB. This is because the system is based on the average utilization of your mail box on our servers. So if you download your e-mail frequently, you e-mail usage will be next to nil.

Can I get additional FTP accounts with my hosting package?
Yes, under Linux you can create ftp-sub accounts in the Control Panel for free. Under Windows, you can only have 1.

If my database or web sites files get corrupt, can you restore it from a backup?
Yes, we will do so for free but we highly suggest that you also maintain backups also.

After I sign-up, can I change my billing period and is there any discount?
From within your Hosting Control Panel you can change your billing period between 1-month, 6-month or 1-year any time only on the Diamond Plans. You can pay balance amount from Billing Profile in Billing section of your Hosting Control Panel. Also you can view online invoices in Billing section for details of credits and debits made to your account. We do offer discounts on the 6 month and 1 year diamond plans.

How can I buy more add-ons once I've signed up for my account?
You can buy any sort of add-on, whether its a resource or a feature from within your Control Panel. If you want more disk space, you can click "Change" in front of the disk space indicator and increase your amount to the desired level. Similarly you can buy IP's, cold fusion accounts, etc. Please review upgrade plans as you may save money by just upgrading to a higher plan. You can always downgrade too if you like. If my business expands can i upgrade automatically to a higher Hosting Plan?
From within your Hosting Control Panel, you can easily change your Hosting Plan. There is no fee and you can change any time. When you change, system credits payment you made for a billing period beyond change date. It then charges your account for new plan fee starting from change date.

Can I customize the available Chat/Guest book/Forum scripts?
Yes, you can.

What is HSphere?
HSphere is Control Panel software developed by Positive Software, Inc. (PSOFT.NET). We use their software to efficiently manage our servers and give our customers absolute control over their hosting.
